BuildLive — Privacy Policy

BuildLive is an in-game overlay for Path of Exile 2 that displays

build-guidance cards (next step, level band, gear priority, PoB2 DPS/defense

proof, and patch-risk warnings) derived from a build you provide. This policy

explains what it does and does not do with data.

What data the app processes

• Your build file and Path of Building 2 (PoB2) stats, which you supply.

These are read locally to render the guidance cards. They are processed

entirely on your own computer.

• Official Path of Exile 2 game events delivered through the Overwolf Game

Events Provider (GEP) — for example character level, current zone, in-town /

hideout status, opened page, boss kill, and death. BuildLive uses these only

to decide when it is appropriate to surface a guidance card. They are not

stored or transmitted off your machine.

What the app does NOT do

• It does not read game memory, capture or scrape the screen, or automate

input. It uses only the documented Overwolf GEP events.

• It does not read live combat, damage, or DPS from the game. The DPS and

defense numbers shown are imported from your PoB2 export and are displayed

for reference only — BuildLive does not calculate them.

• It does not collect personal information, accounts, or contact details,

and does not sell or share your data.

• It does not log Path of Exile 2 in-game chat. (Overwolf's PoE2 chat event

is intended for transient real-time use only and is treated as no-log.)

Third parties

• The app runs on the Overwolf platform; Overwolf's privacy terms apply to

platform-level data. See Overwolf's Privacy Policy.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data.
